Apparently someone thinks so, and they are converting it.

Four Shirtless men playing beach volleyball IN 3D!

Eating food off a girls belly IN 3D!

Ice Man clicking his teeth together IN 3D!

Whatever else the hell happened in that movie, IN 3D!

A four-minute ‘world premiere’ preview of the converted film–featuring the ‘Danger Zone’ aerial flight sequence–was screened Monday at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam.

Per Rob Hummel, CEO of Legend3D, which is handling the conversion of the film…

“As I understand it, they are planning to release it in 3D in early 2012, though I known they want to get Tony Scott’s approval before they go forward,”

What other scenes from this movie that we all had the soundtrack to growing up and listened to track one doing Air Guitar numerous times deserves a horrible 3D treatment?
