In an effort to keep our readers up to date on what’s coming out every week, here’s this week’s list of games and DLC being released and which ones we’re planning on getting (and you should too). As always, most games will be out this Tuesday while most downloadable content is available today.

  • Codename Panzers: Cold War (PC)
  • EVE Online Special Edition (PC)
  • Madworld (Wii)
  • Marble Saga: Kororinpa (Wii)
  • MySims Party (Wii, DS)
  • New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis (Wii)
  • New Play Control! Pikmin (Wii)
  • Resident Evil 5 (PS3, 360)

  • Gradius ReBirth (WiiWare $10)
  • Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars (VC $5)
  • Peggle (XBLA $10)

  • Offspring – “All I Want” (Rock Band 360/PS3 $2)
  • Offspring – “The Kids Aren’t Alright” (Rock Band 360/PS3 $2)
  • R.E.M. – “Losing My Religion” (Rock Band 360/PS3 $2)
  • Richard Thompson – “The Way That it Shows” (Rock Band 360/PS3 $2)

In retail, Resident Evil 5 will sell the most and is the pick for most the editors here on the site but I’m going to pick Madworld as my game of the week solely because it’s an original IP on the Wii and the art looks like it’s done by the same guy who made most of the KMFDM album covers.

If you HAVE to download a game, I suggest the new Gradius game because you just can’t go wrong with a shmup. The DLC however is pretty meh for this week, if you had to get a new track for Rock Band then I suggest the one from R.E.M. just because the video had some angel getting poked in the lungs. AWESOME!

With that, I must bid you adieu, for there is more pressing things I must whore. We’ll see you again next week as we let you know what games you should be getting..because you know, our opinion matters more than anyone you know.
