Evil Dead Reboot Update

Cloverfield’s Jessica Lucas and Legend of the Seeker actress Elizabeth Blackmore have reportedly been cast as the final two of the five young friends who send out to an isolated cabin to kick a drug habit and wind up summoning the forces of evil. They join the previously cast Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, and Lou Taylor Pucci.

I’ll wait until I see the first footage before my fist is brought in its upright and shaking position.

Quantic Dream Tech Demo

Quantic Dream has unveiled a video showing how far their progress has gotten since Heavy Rain. Note: This is not a glimpse at a new game they’re working on, only a tech demo.

Also, note that this was created OVER A YEAR AGO and held from release until now, so expect their technology to be even better now!

Don’t be surprised if the video leaves a little tear in your eye.

Gabe Newell has joined the Forbes’ billionaires list, with a net worth of about $1.5 billion. That’s some fat cash (resist the urge people…)

Peter Molyneux Goes Indie

Peter Molyneux has announced that he will be leaving both Microsoft AND Lionhead Studios following the completion of Fable: The Journey, after which he will pursue independent ventures. His new venture will be called 22 Cans.

Fox has officially cancelled Terra Nova. Rumor has it that Netflix may pick up the series for another season exclusively through their service.

No more Cross-play in CS:GO

We’re sad to report that Counter-Strike: Global Offense will NOT have cross-platform play between PS3 and PC. This was allegedly done because PS3’s network policies would slow down the rapid fire update time they desire for the PC version.
