Synopsis: I don’t even know whether Happy Gilmore is a guilty pleasure of mine or not. By all means I should hate this type of film but I don’t know, I just enjoy watching it everytime. Also, I haven’t seen True Grit yet, otherwise I probably would have chosen that. Adam Sandler is Happy Gilmore, a (bad) hockey player who finds by chance that he can drive golf balls over 400 yards without any effort. With his Grandma’s house about to be claimed, he trains for the annual golfing championship under the eyes of Chubbs, played by Apollo Creed/Carl Weathers.
