PS3 Slim Still Costs Sony
Kaz Hirai had an interview the other day with Times Online in which he admitted that even with the reduced production costs and reduced form factor of the PlayStation 3 Slim, that the company is still not making any money on hardware sales.
BioWare says Dragon Age has over 120 hours of gameplay
You can learn a ton about this industry when you pay attention to what people say during industry shows…like how last week, the studio chief for BioWare let it slip how long he’s been playing Dragon Age: Origins.

New Mass Effect DLC Today
All you Mass Effect whores out there (myself included) can now go out and be good little consumers and pick up the newest DLC, Pinnacle Station. This is the first DLC to come out of BioWare for ME in over a year.
BioWare says Mass Effect 30 FPS Locked
The chaps over at VG247 sat down with BioWare’s Jesse Houston (an associate producer) and had an enlightening interview to say the least, most importantly to me is the one little detail about Mass Effect 2 that he dropped, which had me dancing a little jig at my desk this morning.

Randy Pitchford, lead of Gearbox…the guys who are making Borderlands, has stated recently that there is DLC already in development for their game before it’s even been released. Oh you silly man you!
GC 2009: New Castlevania Trailer
At GamesCom last week, Konami released a trailer for the new Castlevania that has Kojima attached to it.
Avatar – Game Trailer
Continuing the love fest that I have for this movie, THQ released the trailer above at GamesCom this week in Germany. It doesn’t really give anything new from the movie, but at least it doesn’t appear as if it’s Ferngully the Game. I don’t care what people say, the movie’s gonna rock, but the game…might […]
GC 2009: Dante’s Inferno Trailer
Thanks to the fellas at Joystiq attending GamesCom in Germany, we’re lucky enough to have a new trailer from EA’s event earlier today. GC 2009: Mass Effect 2 Trailer
EA has decided to share it’s GamesCom trailer with the rest of the world. In this one you get to see a few sights and get to know the Krogan race a little bit better (if you didn’t already know). I can’t tell if this is Urdnot Wrex or not. I hope it is, he […]
Earthworm Jim Headed to Consoles, Maybe iPhone
I think all of the advocating for Earthworm Jim to be the next Sega Genesis title to be released on Xbox Live might be moot after reading that Interplay has granted Gameloft rights to publish the title anywhere it sees fit…including iPhone, if they so wish.
New Beatles Rock Band Video
I just stumbled across this trailer from IGN, and I thought with all the love we’ve been giving TB:RB in the past couple of weeks, it deserves a spot on the site. Don’t let Gibbo know that I’m encroaching on his Rock Bands, he might get upset.
Somedays, I hate this Industry
I know movie licensed games are a necessary evil, I’ve been putting up with them for as long as I can remember…yeah who else remembers the horrible movie games we got on the NES like Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice, and Total Recall? I certainly do and while I in no way see this game […]
Beatles Rock Band Songlist
Turns out, the guys in the ‘print’ media world sometimes get hookups that guys like us on websites have to wait a few weeks to get…that’s fine, ’cause we’re allowed to go into the blue material more than they are, and we’re not hampered with publishing dates and deadlines. Not to mention we can steal […]
