I grew up as a semi-closeted geek. Sports was a big thing in my family, I loved playing everything I could.
As if we didn’t know already, Carrie Fisher has had the loosest lips of all the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. Today’s post just hammers that home even more.
Ok, yes, that may sound rather insignificant but let me explain.
It was with a giant gnashing of teeth and much wailing and thrashing that I decided to do the one thing that I was trying to not do when it comes to my philosophy of No Hungy…I joined a damn gym.

This year, I made a hell of a 2013 resolution and I’m here to talk about it.
There is a saying that you can’t truly judge someone unless you’ve walked a mile in their shoes…cute saying but I’m a firm believer that one mile in a pair of shoes simply isn’t enough, it needs to be something a bit more, verbose.
For the last couple of weeks I’ve been consuming a bunch of different Honeystinger products before/after/during my training to see if it’s a good fit for those of you in your various stages of No Hungy.
One week later, I’m still finding mud in places.
In the past couple of months I’ve taken my WPR No Hungy Pledge to the next level and the reason why starts with the degenerative sight and hearing disease I have called Ushers Syndrome.

Like our glorious Shogun and Mr Ryan T, I’ve also been on a No Hungy crusade. It’s no secret that I’m quite obese, and have been for many years. After being inspired by Xopher’s amazing No Hungy progress, I decided to take up the challenge, but with a low-carb spin on it.
This week I tried out Growing Naturals Rice Protein Isolate brand of protein powders to take as my 3rd “meal” of the day at 3pm. After the meal replacement debacle, I have no desire to take any powdered supplements unless it’s for pure protein.
With my new-found discovery of trying to live a healthy lifestyle and not just eating right I’ve found that I want to explore as I find what works for me.
