If you are a fan of Asian Cinema, than this could either be good news or bad. Japan and China have a knack at making some awesome movies on a shoestring budget. Rurouni Kenshin otherwise known as Samurai X, is getting a big-screen adaptation.

I’m convinced that Kenichi Matsuyama is the most dynamic young Japanese actor alive at the moment. Seriously this guy is a chameleon, meaning you notice his roles, not the actor…which is how it should be in movies (I’m looking at you Hollywood).

Six months after the first clip of the Space Battle we have been graced with a new, longer clip from the live action Space Battleship Yamato movie. The movie is due out December 1st, 2010, but only in Japan. (Space Battleship Yamato is the original name for Starblazers.)
