Well, here is a movie that will never come to Utah now. Well, other than the fact that it’s full on nudity and Michael Fassbender Penis. In case you didn’t know, this is Steve McQueen’s explicit sexual dysfunction drama SHAME that I’m talking about. All this continues is the old adage that Americans are too fragile for swear words and people not wearing enough clothing, but hyper-stylized violence (which is basically porn) is OK. The MPAA needs to get off their high horse and stop trying to police what they think people should be watching.

Mind you, this movie isn’t Banned or anything, but there are A LOT of theaters around the nation that won’t show an NC-17 movie, even if it seems very thought provoking and word of mouth is that it’s an outstanding movie and look into Sexual Addiction.

Brandon is a 30-something man living in New York who is unable to manage his sex life. After his wayward younger sister moves into his apartment, Brandon’s world spirals out of control. From director Steve McQueen (Hunger), Shame is a compelling and timely examination of the nature of need, how we live our lives and the experiences that shape us. Written by Momentum Pictures
