PaRappa the Rapper with Natal?

Masaya Matsuura is interested in Natal…very interested. Though there’s nothing set in stone just yet, he’s been tossing around ideas with his team about making a new game for the 360 that would utilize the unique aspects of Natal in a way that would bring about a “new breed of gameplay”.

Anyone who’s played PaRappa the Rapper, UmJammer Lammy, or Vib Ribbon, knows that Mr. Matsuura knows what the hell he’s talking about when it comes to defining new genres of music games. In the interview he gave to Videogamer, he states that:

“There is other attractive music, so please try to find another style, another interaction, another gameplay with another type of music,”

Which if you can decode engrish, essentially states that we need to get out of our music game funk where all we do is mash colored buttons on tiny guitars to rock music. If there’s a man who I think could get us there…it’s Matsuura.
