Notch Hints at Minecraft on Oculus Rift

At one point, the creator for Minecraft and all around good guy, Markus “Notch” Persson, was pissed at the Facebook acquisition of the VR technology company Oculus Rift because of his personal aversion to the social media site because it “creeps him out”. This caused him to cancel a version of Minecraft that was set to debut on the tech.

Welllllllll, fast forward and after many moons of thinking about it he now says the following:

…I’m officially over being upset about Facebook buying Oculus. I’m upset
about there being a hole in my favorite sock instead.

John Carmack (if you’re a gamer at all, you know who he is) currently working with the Oculus team simply said back to Notch that if he were to “Say the word, ship the source, and I’ll make sure it runs well on you-know-what”.

I do enjoy hearing people changing their stubborn minds when it comes to new technology.
