New Batman: Arkham City Villain Will Give You The Chills
Head on over to the full article unless you don’t want to know who you’ll be facing in the upcoming Batgame. Well, the clue in the title would make you think Mr.Freeze, but it’s not him so that only leaves one other. Yep, the Penguin will be making an appearance in the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum. The Australian Sunday Herald had the scoop, and in an interview with Rocksteady’s Dax Ginn, gives us an idea on what their take on the villain will be like.
We’ll first see him after one of the Riddler’s puzzles is solved. He issues his goons to kill Batman but where as Penguin has traditionally been quite sophisticated and psychopathic, Rocksteady’s Penguin will be a real mean bastard, but still sophisticated in a twisted manner. His footmen will carry a lot of heavy weapons, due to this Penguin’s fascination with heavy artillery in his Museum.
There’s also some more info on how Catwoman will act. Apparently Rocksteady are trying to make her attitude more towards that of the 60s TV Catwoman, in that she’s strong, confident, sexy and independent. That just sounds like any Catwoman to me, but I’m no comic book nerd.
However, it’s Gamesmaster that has the largest information, and you can find all of that here. In terms of The Penguin, it reveals that he has a Cockney accent, which for you Americans, means he’ll sound like he’s a commoner from London.
Batman: Arkham City is out this October on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
