More Citadel in Mass Effect 3

Mac Walters, the lead writer for Mass Effect 3 spills the beans on what has just piqued my interest in the series’ third installment.

Along with all of the changes to the gameplay that we got in Mass Effect 2, apparently there was a section of the game in which the Citadel played a big part…that was removed from the ME2. Well, thanks to the persuasive nature of Mr. Walters, it looks like we’ll finally get our chance.

To quote the OXM article (out today!) in which he reveals the big details of the much anticipated March sci-fi goodness.

There was a Mass Effect 2 plot that was a kind of callback to the first Mass Effect that was going to be on the Citadel, and we cut it. But now it’s made a resurrection in Mass Effect 3, so I’m happy, but I can’t say what it is. That’s the nice thing about trilogies, sometimes you get a second chance.

I think that HNGGGGGGG states my frame of mind after reading this.
