Minecraft 1.7 Update Reduces Animal Abuse
With the new Minecraft update, sheep hoarders have something to celebrate about!
While most problems in the game can be solved using good old fashion fisticuffs, update 1.7 takes wool gathering off that list. Instead, the player must craft a pair of shears and use them on the animal. Unlike a smack to the jaw, using the shears will not cause harm to the sheep.
A complete list of changes is below:
+ Added pistons
+ Fire or redstone is now required to trigger TNT
+ Fences can be stacked
+ Added shears
+ Shears can be used to pick up leaf blocks
+ Shears can be used to shear sheep without hurting them
* Sheep no longer drop wool from being punched
– Removed Herobrine
The much-talked about Adventure Mode has been pushed to update 1.8, which as of right now has no definitive release date.
