Skankin’ Pickle (named after the dance and a delciously preserved cucumber) formed in the late 80s and provided their own sound to the third wave ska movement with a diversified portfolio of styles that is apparent on the album Skafunkrastapunk. The song “Fakin’ Jamaican” is the song that the band is best known for, and is damned funny in its parody of white guys co-opting the rasta style.
