At least until the alien invasion comes and wipes all traces of our films from the universe. At least we can hope that 2000 years from now our Alien overlords find a old copy of Forrest Gump and realize their mistake.

Below is the list for 2011, these films will now undergo preservation at the library’s conservation facility in Culpeper, Va. So there is one guy that is going to be going to a local video store and buying the DVD/Blu Ray versions of these movies and putting them on a shelf I’m assuming. Or he’ll pirate them and burn copies for storage. Hey, you try getting a movie like Bambi out of the Disney Vault. Looking through the list, I realize how uncultured I am with movies, having only seen; Bambi, Computer Animated Hand, Forrest Gum, Silence of the Lambs and War of the Worlds. You know what, I’m OK with that. What do you guys think? We’ve got some 80 year span of movies here, you should have some opinion right?
