How Many Students Want a Free* Xbox 360?

No, seriously. No strings attached, says Microsoft.

Well… just one I suppose. But it’s not even a string, really. If you’re a student planning on buying a new PC, why not make it one running Windows? Because starting May 23, if you’re a student and go to a participating realtor of Windows PCs and spend a minimum $699 (I’m going to say without taxes) they’ll toss in a new 4GB Xbox360.

It’s about that time of the year where kids are picking up their things getting ready to move out, so why not be sure they’re going to be concentrated on their studies with a brand new computer and Xbox 360?

It’s actually not a bad deal, when you think about it. If you’re looking for a nice upgrade to your current PC this gives you the liberty of spending that extra money to get something nice plus a new 360.

This deal is only in the U.S. right now so it’s not something I’ll be able to cash in on (yet), but apparently they’re working on something like this for Canada and France.
