HITLERSAURUS REX – Dino D-Day Impressions
Do you like Team Fortress 2? Nazis? Dinosaurs?
If you answered ‘GOOD GOD YES’ to any of the previous questions(especially all of them), then you may want to check out Dino D-Day. Its Steam summary reads…
“The year is 1942. Adolf Hitler has succeeded in resurrecting dinosaurs. The reptilian horde has trampled Europe and the Mediterranean. Can nothing stop the Nazi’s dinosaur army? Dino D-Day is a frantic, action-packed multiplayer game that transports you to a World War II that should have been.”
I didn’t copy and paste that. I typed it. Just for you.
The game plays like Team Fortress 2, if there were no unusual hats and the Blue team were dinosaurs, which is just bloody awesome if you ask me. I am particularly impressed with the balance in the teams. The Axis dinosaurs are powerful, but not strong enough to guarantee victory. Allies can still conquer just as easily.
Dino D-Day does not have a particularly expansive fanbase, and there tends to only be 1 to 2 games running at the same time. This makes it very easy to pick up the ropes and get into the game. Each class has its own specific role in gameplay, and they work together very well. I highly recommend it.
