Guess Who’s Claiming Indie Games are Corrupting Children?

If you said Fox News, get yourself a cookie.

Tired of attacking games like Grand Theft Auto and Mortal Kombat (games clearly marked not for children), Fox has aimed its guns at Flower, Thatgamecompany’s beautiful and relaxing wind simulator. On what charges do they accuse Flower? Well pushing a liberal agenda and brainwashing the youths for starters. Oh, and they split screened the game with a so called “murder simulator”. I’m not making this shit up (but they sure are). Also in their sights are Sim City, where players are rewarded for lowering pollution levels, and Fate of the World , a web game that puts you in charge of the Global Environmental Organization as you try to make a difference in world issues.
