Green Day/Husker Du Split 7″ on Record Store Day
Punknews is reporting that there is going to be a Husker Du/Green Day split 7″ released for Record Store Day.
Green Day and Husker Du will be releasing a new split together for Record Store Day. The 7-inch will feature the original song, “Don’t Want To Know If You Are Lonely,” from their 1986 album, Candy Apple Grey and Green Day’s cover of the song, recorded for MTV’s Influences in the 1990s. The song gained some attention recently after being featured in the 80s-set film, Adventureland.
Both of these bands are some of the most influential of their respective generations. I would say that this is rushed to the top of my Record Store Day shopping list.
