GFX Whores, Get Borderlands on PC

The man behind Gearbox, Randy Pitchford, let us in on a little info recently about his upcoming game Borderlands. Apparently the best looking version of the game will be released on the PC, but in his own words:

“The PC version destroys all the console versions in terms of the image fidelity – assuming you have the hardware for it.”

What funny is that right after he said that last line, he then recants and starts talking about comfort vs PC gaming.

“It’s tough. It’s very tough, I’ll tell ya, on one level I do like sitting on my couch with the surround sound and the wireless controller, on the other level I mean you will not get a better-looking image than in the PC version of the game, and when you’re playing a first-person shooter, the mouse and keyboard interface is still the best way to go. It’s a tough thing.”

I dont know if the man realizes it yet, but he easily can hook his computer up to his HDTV and play with a wireless mouse/keyboard setup on his couch. I’m just sayin…onto a more serious note, I personally am looking forward to this game, I need something besides Fallout 3 to keep me busy and it seems that I’ll have that wish answered this October.

I even started a weekly podcast that I feel has come into its own. It wasn't until earlier this year that I realized that having the word "whore" in your URL might be a bit limiting to my potential audience. I then made the website and its branding move over to WatchPlayRead.com.
