We’re movin’ on up! Not to the East Side, but you know, in the world of podcasting on this thing called the internet.

It’s another Friday, and another episode of the Geek Dad Report! We’re officially on iTunes, Podhell Media, Youtube and soon Stitcher, SO MANY AVENUES! Yes, it’s been an exciting week for the two of us on this show. First, that music you’re hearing in the Intro/Outro? Is music kindly donated to us by MC S.A.V. and Pacific Game, we put the speaker right on the mic, you know high quality show that we are, hopefully you can hear it better this episode! Or, maybe we should try that post production thing and insert the song clips ourselves.

This week, we talked news in the world of Star Wars, Captain America: Civil War leaks, Fear the Walking Dead breaking records, Galaxy Quest updates and more! Our main topic this week, we explored TV Shows and Movies based on Books/Comics. Should you read ahead and ruin the video medium and vice versa? Conflicting emotions abound! Our rant this week was about why do kids have to disrupt every damned serious adult conversation we’re currently trying to engage in?

Check out the show and let us know what you think. If you enjoyed our rant kids email us at [email protected] your own stories, questions or tell us we’re horrible parents! We’re all parents struggling to make it through our children’s hell spawn years, someday we’re going to be “uncool” and they won’t want to hang out with us, so we understand what you’re going through. We have to stick together if we’re going to make it out of this alive, and always remember that we are here for you.

This Weeks Recommendations:

Ryan: Plugs Safari Tales, a new game he is testing out on his iPhone with his 5 year old daughter. You get baby animals, wander around a jungle and make storybooks that get emailed to your parents so you can read them together. Expect a full review here at WatchPlayRead next week!

Brian: Sense8 on Netflix has incredible depth and at times pushes your comfort levels that will make you maybe grow as a person. Also, they will make your twitter feed explode when they retweet something you said about the show.
