Like a bad episode of Star Trek, you only finish it because it’s Trek.

It’s done, this run is over, after reading the three issues before this and while I may be a little sad that I won’t have a comic book to laugh about with WPR contributor Evan Burkey, I’m sure we’ll find something new.

It pretty much ended exactly how I thought it would, Picard saves the day, saves some people, kills the Borg Queen with bloody ooze coming from her eyeballs and exterminates the entire Borg race. Then sets up a nice colony for the freed from the collective Borg survivors.

I still hated the art, the plot was pretty much laid out after issue #2 and well, I’m just glad its over with.

The only redeeming quality was that, well, at least it’s more Star Trek, Next Generation and eye patch Worf was looking pretty boss. Naked Seven of Nine humping Picard from behind? Probably my favorite hilariously bad part of the whole comic.

Thoughts from WPR Contributor, Evan Burkey

“brb gonna touch myself to Picard x Floating Naked Jeri Ryan”

WPR’s Reccomendation on this 4 issue series

Unless you love reading bad Trek just because you like to hurt yourself in the brain parts, you should probably avoid this run altogether. Don’t pick up the trade when it comes out. Buy this when it collects into a trade for someone who loves Star Trek really hard, and then giggle to yourself the whole time knowing you’ve caused them some suffering.
