As if we didn’t already suspect, the folks from Bethesda have announced that there will be a CE version of Fallout: New Vegas when it hits the shelves sometime later this year. I know that you’re dying to find out what it entails…but I’ll give you one spoiler, there’s no bobblehead this time around.
Included in the hefty box will be:
Lucky 7 Poker Chips – A set of chips that represents all of the casinos located on the Vegas strip and throughout the wasteland in the game.
A Deck of Cards – Of course there’ll be 52 of em, from A-K but each of them will contain an illustration of various factions and characters from the game.
A Lucky 38 Platinum Chip
All Roads – The hardcover graphic novel from Dark Horse Comics that gives you the backstory leading up to the game.
Fallout: New Vegas The Making of (DVD) – Sounds exactly like it really is.
And of course, your own copy of the game itself.
Much like the last CE version of Fallout to come out, the box set will be available for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 this fall. There’s been no price listed as of yet, but I’m willing to bet that it’ll run about $89.99 when it goes up for sale this fall.
I sit upon my throne as the owner/shogun of this site, WatchPlayRead. But it wasn't always so. I too have had blogspots, I've done other community blogs, I've even written professionally for other sites out there...yet none of them provided the content I had a real passion for.
It is then that I became tired of being a small cog in a big machine, and of writing about nothing but game news after game news article and the periphery that comes from such schlock, like knowing who Michael Pachter and Bobby Kotick are.
I decided to start MediaWhoreNetwork.com and ran up my post count there for about 2 years, commenting about any and everything that I wanted to. I even started a weekly podcast that I feel has come into its own.
It wasn't until earlier this year that I realized that having the word "whore" in your URL might be a bit limiting to my potential audience. I then made the website and its branding move over to WatchPlayRead.com.
