Pete Hines (Bethesda’s V.P. of Marketing and Public Relations) sent out an email to all the game sites like ours this morning letting us know that the newest DLC for Fallout 3, titled ‘Mothership Zeta’ will be arriving on August 3rd for both the Xbox 360 and the PC.

The DLC will most likely kick off where the crashed alien ship (aka Recon Craft Theta) is broadcasting its distress signal in the Capital Wasteland near the Greener Pastures Disposal Site. Where you get ‘beamed up’ by the craft’s mothership. From there you’ll be fighting and trying to escape the alien ship by joining forces with and I quote “an unexpected array of characters, both from the Capital Wasteland and from Earth’s past.”

Hot damn! I can’t wait to destroy the alien menace with George Washington or Abe Lincoln at my side…I’ve been carrying around his coin collection and rifle since I found them.

The price for the DLC is the usual 800 MS Points or $10 if you will, and is a bargain because I’m sure there’ll be some great swag to grab this time around and hopefully a shitload of alien power cells so I can use my Firelance more often.

Ahhh, I love this damned game, and to think that I’d have paid almost an additional $50 for all of the DLC that has come and gone. This game just keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait to see what they do next, because being on an alien spaceship that has a ‘death ray’ pointed at the Earth is just B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
