The Entertainment Software Ratings Board has listed Chrono Trigger for the PS3 and PSP systems, and my ass just exploded.
Square Enix hasn’t stated whether or not it is true, but if so…hot damn I can’t wait! Actually yes I can, I have the original for my SNES that I can bring upstairs anytime I wish.
Ok I’ll stop trollin’. Seriously, if Chrono Trigger did make it to either one of those systems I’d more than likely buy it, just because it’s the right thing to do and that game is just soooo fantastic that I think people should buy it no matter where it shows up. Hell, if they made a Kindle version I’d say pick it up.
On some related news…Final Fantasy VI has been rated as well. I’m willing to bet that this is going to be a PSone Classic for the Final Fantasy Anthology / Chronicles that came out a long while back. If you remember, Anthology had FFV and FFVI on it while Chronicles had Chrono Trigger and FFIV.
Either way, money will be spent and games will be played.
I sit upon my throne as the owner/shogun of this site, WatchPlayRead. But it wasn't always so. I too have had blogspots, I've done other community blogs, I've even written professionally for other sites out there...yet none of them provided the content I had a real passion for.
It is then that I became tired of being a small cog in a big machine, and of writing about nothing but game news after game news article and the periphery that comes from such schlock, like knowing who Michael Pachter and Bobby Kotick are.
I decided to start MediaWhoreNetwork.com and ran up my post count there for about 2 years, commenting about any and everything that I wanted to. I even started a weekly podcast that I feel has come into its own.
It wasn't until earlier this year that I realized that having the word "whore" in your URL might be a bit limiting to my potential audience. I then made the website and its branding move over to WatchPlayRead.com.
