The Equalizer – TV Spot

I’m torn about Hollywood making movies based on television shows, always have been. There are cases where it works out just fine, many others that come off as just mediocre, and then there are the ones that are just absolute excrement.

Take for instance The A-Team, not a bad flick, but was an even better television show. There’s SWAT, which was a great show and an even better movie. Now we are facing the same hesitantancy with The Equalizer.

This adaptation follows ex-special ops commando, Robert McCall (played by Denzel Washington), who traded in his violent life to work at a small home improvement store and makes friends with the character played by Chloe Grace Moretz (Hit-Girl from Kick-Ass)who is accosted by local ruffians that turn out to be Russian mobsters. Unable to stand for the weak being oppressed, McCall springs into action.

The Equalizer is set for a September 26 release in theaters and IMAX.
