Epic Games Expands to Japan: Kawaii Marcus Fenix Inevitable
You heard me right, folks. Epic Games, home of Unreal Tournament, Gears of War, and CliffyB’s expanding ego, has officially opened a studio in The Land of the Rising Sun during a press conference on Thursday. In attendance were Epic president Mike Capps, founder Tim Sweeney, and a very enthusiastic Suda51, who already has 70 percent of his staff switched over to the Unreal Engine. Though primarily known for its use in shooters, the Unreal Engine has more than proved itself capable in every genre its been thrown at (such as well-received RPG, Lost Odyssey).
If everything goes as planned, Lamborghini is about to see an increase in sales.
