Disney Ready to Clog Bargain Bins
Disney, not content with just double dipping their movies, is planning on double dipping their games.
Starting today in the UK, Disney will begin bundling Nintendo game counterparts to a number of their movie and television releases. The first three releases will be: Tangled and its Wii game, Phineas and Ferb and its DS game, and Cars/Cars Toon with the Wii game Cars Toon: Mater’s Tall Tales. This move, according to an MCV talk with Disney catalog manager James Thornby, is intended to enhance “the consumer’s interaction with the property or characters as a whole” and “make it easier for kids and families to immerse themselves in the world” without breaking the bank.
Expect to find these titles in the £5 bin in the near future.
