Box Office Report March 21-23
First, the bad news, we are close to the time where I will stop reporting on Frozen, because it will drop out of theaters altogether any day now. The good news is that Frozen is now number 12, right behind Toy Story 3, on the all-time box office gross list. Given that without an additional release, Frozen is unlikely to bridge the $14 million gap it is unlikely to move beyond the number 12 spot.
The weekend was firmly dominated by Divergent, leaving The Muppets with an unfortunately overshadowed opening. Other than that, it was a fairly uneventful weekend at the box office.
