Best News Ever: K-On Manga Relaunches, Continues The Story
Yes, there is a (good) story in K-On. Don’t even try to disagree with me, my opinion on this subject is law. Deal with it.
The news of the K-On manga’s relaunch has been around for a while, but until today we had no news on the contents contained within. The first new chapter will launch in the May issue of Manga Time Kirara , and will cover Yui, Mio, Mugi, and Ritsu as they head off to college. There is also a previously unannounced second manga being done that will cover Jun, Azusa, and Ui in their senior year of high school as they continue the Light Music Club. The first chapter will release in the June issue of Manga Time Kirara.
If you couldn’t tell by now, I’m stoked about this news. K-On is one of my favorite manga and anime series, and I will be scouring the internets for these new issues as soon as they release. More importantly, I’m hoping that this new content will prompt a new season of the anime. We already know the movie is coming out December 3rd in Japan, and let’s face it, K-On is a merchandiser’s wet dream. K-On is a cash cow, and I will gladly drop more money for more content.
