Atlus’s Catherine is so Hard, it Needs a Patch

The director of the game, Katsura Hashino has written on the game’s blog that there is a patch coming soon to help the more sheepish players get further in the game.

The patch will increase the allowed retries for the game’s supposedly dastardly difficult levels and will add an ‘assist’ feature into the game’s easy mode.

If you want to prove you’re the big balls gamer you will be able to select whether you want the assists and extra retries turned on for you while playing. Unfortunately, this will be a mandatory title update.

I just think it’s funny that Atlus is building a reputation for themselves as the hardcore game company.

I even started a weekly podcast that I feel has come into its own. It wasn't until earlier this year that I realized that having the word "whore" in your URL might be a bit limiting to my potential audience. I then made the website and its branding move over to WatchPlayRead.com.
