Assassin’s Creed: Revelations star of next month’s Game Informer
Yep, it’s that time of the month again. Game Informer have another exclusive on their hands and this time it’s the next game in the Assassin vs Templar series. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will focus on all previous three protagonists of the series, those being Altair, now poster boy Ezio Auditore and the Nolan Northtastic Desmond Hume.
All three will play a part in the game’s story, and while we don’t know what Altair will be up to, Ezio will be off to Constantinople/Istanbul at the height of the Ottoman Empire. We last saw Ezio hunting Cesare Borgia in 1507, so we can assume that by that and the rugged beard on the cover that this will take place at some point during the first half of the 1500s. There’s also a vague statement about a new weapon and tool that will change how Ezio fights and travels the world. We’ve already seen the Apple Of Eden used in Brotherhood, so who knows what they are.
Ezio is the star again, but this is promising to be the last game in his story. It’ll be nice to see Altair again though, especially after the vast improvements of Assassin’s Creed 2 onwards. As for Desmond, no doubt what happened at the end of Brotherhood will have a big effect on his story in this game. Ubisoft did say they wanted a new Assassin’s Creed game every year, and it looks they’re living up to milking this cash cow until it’s dry. Next year we’ll probably see Assassin’s Creed 3, but what after that?
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will be released for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in November.
