80% of AOL’s Revenue Comes From Subscribers
According to a recent report in New Yorker 80 percent of AOL’s revenue is coming from subscribers. 75 percent of them don’t even need it.
I think I’m going to chalk this up to ignorance. A lot of these subscribers are probably older people who don’t realize they no longer need to pay AOL to see their Email. But still, I mean when was the last time AOL was relevant in the internet marketplace? Probably before many of this year’s high school graduates were even born. Do you have any service that you are not getting any value of but continue to pay for it? Even years or maybe even decades after the fact?
