Xbox 360 Controller, Now With Less Color!

Cynicism aside, the new controller from Microsoft will address the biggest issue most people had with the original controller: the directional pad. The “disc” that surrounds the familiar “plus” sign of the directional pad can now be adjusted back so that it is less obtrusive. The controller will be available to the general public on November 9th exclusively in a Play & Charge Kit at the “why does this cost more than a game?” price of $64.99.

Will this stop people bitching that their controller caused them to lose the round? I doubt it.

Really ryan, the more you post about the financial updates of microsoft the more you make me want to stomp my xbox and buy a PS3 and be economical about my gaming.
$65 FOR A CONTROLLER is ridiculous. i hope microsoft goes bankrupt and ps3 picks up all their worthwhile game titles and we don’t have to deal with xbox and their crappy pricing anymore.

You do know the ps3 controller costs exactly the same price right? ps3 controller $55 and then you need to buy the charge cable, which costs 10 dollars, making it the same price as the xbox controller with play and charge kit. Not to mention at least the xbox cont. has more functionality now. This isn’t terrible news.
