WPRs Book Publisher Numero Uno Gives Us New Author Announcements!
Seventh Star Press is the WPR publisher of choice when it comes to all things fantasy books. This little publisher puts out a quality of books that I’ve yet to see matched by the “big boys” in publishing. So we’re happy to share this new author and book series they acquired that will be hitting shelves soon. Hint? It’s all about DWARVES, bring on the ale!
D.A. Adams and his The Brotherhood of Dwarves series will be coming to us sometime in August. The first two (of five) in the series, The Brotherhood of Dwarves and Red Sky at Dawn (both will be re-released by Seventh Star Press in late summer) were originally released by Third Axe Media. The first two books have been given good thumbs ups and sold very well on the convention circuit. Yeah, it’s not New York Times Bestseller list, but who gives a crap. I’d rather read something that was obviously written with enough passion to grind it’s way forward as a labor of love. How can you not want to read about a series that is known for its fresh approach to an iconic fantasy race, blending traditional lore with some new twists?
The first edition of the third book that Seventh Star Press will release is titled, The Fall of Dorkuhn here is a little synopsis:
The Fall of Dorkuhn continues the story of the dwarf Roskin. In the
newest adventure of the series, Roskin returns home to a kingdom divided
by war with the ogres. On one side, his father desires to restore peace,
but on the other, Master Sondious, seeking revenge for having been
crippled, seeks to escalate the offensive aggression. Roskin and his
friends make a desperate attempt to resolve the growing rift, but unknown
to the dwarves, new and powerful menaces threaten to destroy the entire
We’ll be keeping you covered about this new series as the release date draws near, until then, fill up your mugs with a fine ale, and work on that beard, cause the Dwarves are coming. And we want you to be sure that you’re ready when they get here.
