And I thought everything was about to calm down in the ultra-violent, teeth-gnashing world of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead. Boy was I wrong!

Expecting a few issues of peace was just a bit to much to ask. I was hoping for some real-life problems involving our favorite characters. Like, expansion and cultivation problems, while reflecting on how nice everything is after Negan is gone. It’s only what our characters deserve. But no! That’s just to much to ask, apparently. So, here we go with issue #128, jumping right back into the inevitable craziness.

It’s really hard to say what we’re in for, with this new group of survivors the community has welcomed in. I feel there’s a shit storm on the horizon in which these new folks will be to blame. I also feel that Negan will be involved. But, for good or bad, who’s to say. They sure are a suspicious lot, but can you blame them? Rick & Company was the same way not to long ago, when they were first welcomed in to The Community (aka Alexandria Safe-Zone) by Douglas. We’ll just have to hope Rick can convince these new-comers of his altruistic motives, without having Carl and Andrea blow them away.  Stay tuned to WPR; same dead time, same dead channel, for more Walking Dead reviews!

I truthfully enjoy every issue of The Walking Dead. If I feel upset at the end of an issue sometimes, it’s only because I’m already buggin’ for the next one to come out. I’ve been reading this series since it began ten years ago, so it’s hard to not feel a level of attachment to the characters in The Walking Dead. And I get a bit anxious when I see characters making, what I feel are, stupid choices. But, read on I will. Even though I know I will cry when this series ends. I know it. But, I can’t let that stop me from enjoying what I feel is the best comicbook out there. (Besides Invincible ;-))
