Keeping in tradition of great films that have a brilliant message. This student film from Ien Chi will be competing in international student film festivals this year. He had this to say about it.

Never have I put in so much effort into a single film. This short film is the result of hundreds of hours of work from many people. It was originally made for Campus MovieFest. It is definitely the most ambitious and biggest scale project I’ve done thus far. We won Best Picture at the Emory finale. We will be competing internationally at Hollywood in June! Filmed with a 5d mark ii with 24-70mm lens on a steadicam merlin. We did 36 takes to get the right one. Yes, the film is all in one take. All shot on Oxford College of Emory campus.

I love short film. I think the time restraints on the medium makes the filmmakers push a little harder and be more creative with their time.
