Did you know that Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli was planning on bringing “Little Nemo” to life?

While I may not be the biggest fan of Japanese animation, I always watch Hayao Miyazaki’s films. He is one of the most talented and brilliant minds in animated cinema. After watching this clip, you’ll wish that they had finished the movie. According to legend, there were some conflicts and Miyazaki had to leave the project. Much of the ’89 film retains most of the vision that Miyazaki had, although the style is most definitely changed.

I also realize that this was based on a Comic Strip, I’m most familiar with the NES game that featured a little boy who went off to sleep and used individually wrapped pieces of candy as a weapon. The game was notoriously hard and I can’t ever remember getting past the first few levels.
