There’s plenty of films to choose from this week. This only covers new releases, not re-releases. No choice from me this week because I haven’t seen any of these films (Only half of From Dusk Till Dawn a long time ago.)

The Green Hornet

Synopsis: An experiment was carried out to find out what would happen if Canadian slacker Seth Rogen, who plays the same role in every film he’s in, became a superhero in real life. This experiment was filmed. He plays Britt Reid who teams up with his late Dad’s assistant Kato to fight crime.

From Dusk Till Dawn

Synopsis: The Gecko Brothers are on the run from US law when they kidnap a family to get across the border to Mexico. A night at the Titty Twister waiting for their contact turns bloody, if you know what I mean.

What Dreams May Come

Synopsis: A family man dies and goes to a heaven built from his imagination, only to discover that his wife commits suicide and goes to hell. He risks an eternity in hell to bring her to heaven.

Synopsis: A private military school is about to be closed, but the cadets of the school take control of it. A battle then ensues between the cadets and the outside.

Halloween H20

Synopsis: Michael Myers returns for the umpteenth time to get Laurie Strode 20 years after their first encounter. She now has a son who is the same age as she was when Myers went to town on her and her babysitting friends.

Synopsis: Elena is a 15 year old girl who goes out on the pull in a seaside resort where her family is staying, but is forced to take her younger sister with her.

All The Right Moves

Synopsis: Tom Cruise battles for a college scholarship to play American Football so that he can escape from his dead end town. This was before he discovered Scientology.

The Yards

Synopsis: Marky Mark is an ex-con who tries to make a fresh start for himself, only to be drawn into corruption and murder during his new job.

Waiting For Forever

Synopsis: Another manufactured romance film about a street performer and a young actress. If you’re even thinking about watching this, hand in your man card now.

Kung Fu Dunk

The Crow: City Of Angels

Synopsis: The sequel to The Crow where a man and his son are killed by a drug Kingpin, only for the father to be resurrected by the crow so that he can take down this druglord and his regime.
