The Kids Are Alright – Review
I lost in paper rock scissors to the wife and this is the movie we ended up watching. Actually, it didn’t turn out too bad in the end. This movie had two big things going for it that I really liked, Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo. Also, the movie was just so nicely, I don’t know how to put it…layered? It just seemed to keep peeling away and only getting better as it got deeper into the intricacies of two mom’s (yes, married females, to each other) confronting the sperm-doner that had contributed to their children. It turned out to be a nice movie that my wife and I sat on the couch to watch, it was funny, intellectual and gave us a good discussion afterwards. Really something you should watch with your significant other. Or a blow up doll if you’re single.
