Happy Monday morning my surly bunch or workday drones. Get your favorite warm drink (coffee in my case), sit your ass down for the beginning of a long ass work week, and take the next 3 or 4 minutes to get a little bit of happiness into your ears. Trust me, with all of the Xmas cheer going on right now, I’m sure we could all use a bit of distraction.

Man, the Deftones have come a long way in a relatively short time. If you listened to their first albums, Adrenaline/Around The Fur, and compared it to their more recent work like their Self-Titled/Saturday Night Wrist albums, you can easily see that Chino has grown as a vocalist. Their early stuff was awesome but still very nu-metal, now they still have a very hard edge but also a greatly enhanced sound…showing...
