Bejeweled 3 Review, Continued.
by cassidymae under PLAY, READ on Jan 5th
Whew. What a busy time. Christmas, New Years, the beginning of a new school semester. I finally have a second to sit down and finish up my review of Bejeweled. So if you read my last review, I’d played all the different versions of the game, except Quest.
To continue where I left off with my last review, I started with Zen mode. I tried out the audio-visual effects. There are 4 different ways you can modify these:

Further proof that vegetables do way more good than harm. For all you kids who barfed up your peas back in the day, this ones for you.
My husband Chris Kirkham was offered the chance to play and review the game Plants Vs. Zombies, made by Pop Cap games, but I got to it before he did. Although I’m married to a big nerd, I consider myself to be an even bigger gamer nerd than he is so I jumped at the chance to play... Popcap Games Holiday sale!

Peggle Nights – Review
by Ryan Wilson under PLAY on Nov 2nd
Coming from the high concept and fast paced world of the modern gaming scene, my initial expectations of Peggle Nights were considerably low. I had played so-called “casual” games before, but very few held my interest for more than a few playing sessions.
Imagine my surprise when I found Peggle Nights not only fun, but extremely addicting as well!
Peggle Nights plays like a hybrid of Taito’s Bust a... Casual Gamers, It’s back! :UPDATED:
by Ryan Thomason under PLAY on Nov 1st
I think everyone has been bored to a point where they played a couple of rounds of Bejeweled to kill a couple of minutes, but then spend an hour playing instead. You know what I’m talking about, you got one hand propping up your slumped over face as you absentmindedly spend a couple of ours lining up things into groupings of three in a never ending quest to just beat your last score. I know I’ve been there... Plants Vs Zombies: On the DS!
by Ryan Thomason under PLAY on Oct 27th
I’m glad that PopCap games just came on my radar recently. This is probably one of my favorite new game trailers I’ve seen lately, and we’ve posted a bunch here. Since I don’t have an iPhone, I missed them there, and after we reviewed the PC/Mac version, I knew they were a solid company. Now, they are bringing Plants Vs Zombies to the Nintendo DS, and since that is something that I have, I’m... Plants vs Zombies on the iPhone…finally!
by Xopher Reed under PLAY on Dec 30th
Not being a PC gamer that much anymore, I’ve never had a chance to play many of PopCap’s great games on the medium they’re normally released for…thankfully they’re good enough to make ports of most of them for the iPhone. Hell, if it weren’t for this fact, I’d never have played Peggle or BookWorm. Now, it seems that I’ll be getting another excellent game on my iPhone soon.
