Death Note Now Streaming on Neftlix

The huuuugely popular anime series, originally a 12 volume manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, the same creative force behind my favorite new manga series, Bakuman。 (see my review HERE) is now available on Netflix’s video streaming service.  

Saved By The Anime

Up until this month, I had been living without using Netflix to fill the void of on demand entertainment. What made me change my mind on using the service was that so many Anime license companies like Viz and Funimation have decided to stream the bulk of their shows to Netflix subscribers…so now I have a reason to live and even more, a reason to catch up on my anime watching.

I’ve read manga for what seems like 20 years now. I’ve read it in both English and Japanese and for some reason, I’ve enjoyed reading manga much more than reading comic books here in America. This may be because I’m a stark raving mad weeaboo when it comes to Japanese culture, but for me it’s a bit more than that.

Demo Daze: Naruto: The Broken Bond

The sequel to the fantastic Naruto: Rise of a Ninja demo hit the marketplace this week, boasting both improved graphics and an overhauled battle system. The game picks up literally exactly where the last one left off, following the anime story between episodes 81-135.
