Contagion – Trailer

by under WATCH on Jul 14th
Bear with me here for a few minutes. Yes, this movie is almost a scene for scene copy of the 1995 classic Outbreak but before you discount it so quickly, realize that it’s being directed by Steven Soderbergh and features a huge cast of great actors and actresses.

The Adjustment Bureau – Review

by under WATCH on Mar 3rd
Philip K. Dick has been a well of material for the Hollywood machine since the attempted adaption of Ubik in 1974. After 37 years and at least ten feature films later, tinsletown is up to it again. For the most part, all of his movies have been somewhat grounded in reality and real-life issues contained therein, but it looks like he wants to take his works to the fringe in the new movie Hereafter.

Mornin’ Cup o’ Movie Soundtracks

by under PLAY on Nov 6th
The Bourne Trilogy is probably the best series of action films this decade, director Paul Greengrass did a fantastic job of making spies relevant again by making Jason Bourne the anti Bond, so relevant in fact that when MGM got round to rebooting the Bond franchise with Daniel Craig at the helm they tried to incorporate as many Bourne like qualities as they could. Whilst all of the soundtracks have featured a great...
