Mad Men: Here to Stay

There are few shows that I really really like. Mad Men is one of those shows. I love the pacing and how it slowly it reveals itself over the course of the season. It has been said that is is considered one of the last of the quote “Golden Age of Television” and while I hold a much more optimistic outlook, there is something from the Television landscape that has been missing since Mad Men has been away.

My wife and I found time to watch the two hour season premiere of Mad Men last night, and after spending too much time pausing at the beginning so we could replay our memories of where things left off I started to become detached.

I still maintain that DC is the master of animated comic stories…but then again I don’t really follow Marvel’s attempts at animated series ever since the end of the classic 90s X-Men and maybe the current anime version.
