Henry Rollins is Kilowog in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights

Whether it be his work with Black Flag, his eponymous Rollins Band, the acting work he’s done over the years, his spoken word tours, or his hosting abilities, Rollins is a force of nature…and in my opinion, the perfect pick to voice the Green Lantern drill sergeant Kilowog.

Warner Home Video just sent us this clip and some graphics to keep you sedated until the movie comes out on June 7th. What we get to take a look at this time is Hal Jordan (Nathan Fillion) beginning his mentoring of Arisia (Elisabeth Moss from Mad Men) as the Green Lantern Corps are lining up to recharge their rings in prepartion for battle with Krona. I’m getting more excited for this movie to finally get here...

Green Lantern – First Glance at Sinestro

Last week we got to see Ryan Reynolds in his full costume for the new Green Lantern movie being made by Warner Brothers…today we get to take a look at the face of Mark Strong as Sinestro. Mr. Strong might be best remembered from movies like Sherlock holmes where he played Lord Blackwood, or as Septimus in the movie version of the Neil Gaiman novel Stardust. That’s not all, it seems to me that Strong is quickly...

Gaze into the awesomeness that is Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern. I don’t even have words for how awesome they’re making him look for this movie. I guess I’ll keep the excitement down a few notches until I see the damned thing in motion, but this seriously made my day as a DC Universe fanatic. (click the image for high res)
