SimCity Headed to Facebook

by under PLAY on May 30th
Zynga, the company who has the “Facebook game kings” title locked down tight with their games like Farmville and CityVille have attracted the attention of a very jealous EA who own the rights to one of the most beloved simulation games ever made, SimCity. Should Zynga worry?

Angry Birds Migrate to Facebook

by under PLAY on Mar 6th
I really don’t know why I can’t quit playing this game. It’s not remarkably well done, it has some of the most basic gameplay I’ve ever experienced, annoying sound effects, and somewhat cute graphics. Love it or hate it, Angry Birds is here to stay, and after they show up as an app on Facebook later this month, they’ll be even MORE ubiquitous.

Facebook Gets More Gay

You either love Facebook or hate it, but still you use it regardless. Facebook has long permitted members to put on their profiles whether they’re single, married, or “it’s complicated,” but today it added two new options to the mix

The Only Facebook Game I’ll Support

by under PLAY on Dec 5th
I am not the biggest fan of Facebook, but I understand that it is THE way people communicate with each other these days. Forget phone calls, or text messages…it’s all about ‘liking’ people and ‘status updates’. While I don’t mind that aspect of the social network, I do NOT relish the idea of game companies making games specifically for it.

Microsoft and Facebook Sittin’ in a Tree

by under READ on Oct 13th
Trying to make Bing not suuuuucky. This thing that Microsoft does, is probably the most annoying product I’ve come across on the internet lately. Not only does it really mess with some articles I’m reading with it’s annoying pop ups, but It just…I don’t know I just can’t stand it. Now that they are jumping on the Facebook bandwagon, doesn’t make me want to try using the service...

Included in 3.50 is the long expected Blu-ray 3D disc playback, improved Facebook interaction, and an improved griefing report system so you can complain about the people mocking you for watching a 3D movie and posting about it on your profile. Alan Spencer’s “This Business We Call Business…”

by under READ on May 12th
Mr. Alan Spencer, famed creator of Sledge Hammer, has recently posted a poignant little blog.  I found it on his facebook page.  He has given me permission to post it here.  Enjoy. “I just finished having breakfast with an old school executive, a former mogul that in his mind still lives in the days of yore. I thoroughly enjoyed it… because his extravagance was more engaging than the conservative demeanor...

Help! My Mom’s on Facebook!

by under READ on Mar 17th
I think it’s rather funny that today the Shogun posts Def Leppard as the MCoM since the band in this video is trying really hard to be them. Anyways, funny video on how Facebook changed once it opened up to more than just college students. This is basically how I felt as soon as I learned my mom was on Facebook, but thankfully, she’s not nearly as bad as the mom in this video. Enjoy.
