Captain America – Superbowl Trailer

Geez, you’d think that there was only movie trailers during the Superbowl last night. Well…that’s the only bit that I really paid any attention to mainly because of big reveals like this where we finally get to see Chris Evans in the flesh as Captain America. Oh and Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull is in it for a whole half of a second.  

Captain America – Teaser Poster

I don’t think I can accurately put into words how this poster makes me feel. I guess the only thing that I can say is ‘holy shit!’ I sincerely hope that this movie lives up to the expectation of all of the nay-saying geeks out there. The last thing we need is another Ang Lee’s Hulk or Fantastic Four quality of movie. As you can see from the poster, the movie will be out this July.  

Yet Another First Look at Captain America

Hot off the pages of Empire magazine, we get our first full frontal shot of our hero Captain America as he appears in the movie…minus the helmet/mask combo.  

Captain America Invades Manchester

Freelance cameraman Jon Brady is a hero of mine this week, he’s been following around the crew of the Captain America: The First Avenger movie all over the UK recently. I love how the movie is taking sections of Manchester and Liverpool and transforming them from 2010 England to 1940s New York.

From what we can see, Marvel Studios were out this week on-location somewhere in England filming a series of stunt shots for their upcoming film Captain America: The First Avenger. You’ll want to see this as well and draw your own conclusions, as I am about to.
