These days/weeks/years, my time is focused mainly on family activities and therefore my shows and movies that I can usually watch have to be kid friendly. I can’t tell you the last time I went to an adult movie at a theatre and watched something NOT for kid consumption…probably Avengers.

‘A Good Day to Die Hard’ meh.

That’s right. Die Hard 5 has been titled, and dated. And if you are looking for a great romantic comedy to watch on Valentines day 2013, perhaps Die Hard will be the perfect thing to sweet your loved one off her feet.  

Looper officially picked up at Cannes. Me Excite.

Looper, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt and Bruce Willis. Was picked up over at the fancy pants film festival Cannes. All I really care about is time traveling hit-men that go into the past to kill their victims so that there is no evidence…and Bruce Willis.  

Movie Review: RED

Yes, I saw a movie in theater for once. The occasion? Well it was my wife and I’s 6th wedding anniversary. It seems that the tradition we’ve had since having kids is that while we have 24 hours to ourselves, we spend most of it at the movie theater watching everything we can. We never know when we’ll be back, so we take advantage of it. One of the movies I felt compelled to tell people about is RED.... 

The Expendables – Trailer

Slyvester Stallone’s latest directorial effort The Expendables has had us excited for a little while now, I mean who isn’t excited about the chance to revisit an 80′s action movie that features the men that dominated the genre in the 80′s (Stallone, Lundgren, Rourke, Willis and Schwarzenegger) throw in a couple of the modern action stars (Statham and Li),  a couple of wrestlers (Couture and Austin)...

Sylvester Stallone’s latest directorial effort, The Expendables already has a cast which features a who’s who of action movie stars.  Stallone, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren make up the core of the cast as the Expendables, a group of mercenaries hired to take down a South American dictator.  According to the guys over at Slashfilm Bruce Willis has signed on to cameo in the film... 

Assassination of a High School President – Trailer

I first heard about Assassination of a High School President back in 2008 after it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and I was looking forward to the expected November release, then it slipped and I’ve waited and waited and now we’re finally getting a straight to DVD release in October. The film follows the story of Bobby Funke, a second rate high school reporter who becomes a noir style private eye... 

Casting Call: Left 4 Dead

Left 4 Dead is a pretty awesome game and I’m sure that many of my fellow whores would agree. It also happens to be a great tribute to the general zombie apocalypse genre, if said genre exists and it easily feels like you’re playing a part in one of Romero’s movies. I also enjoyed reading Popa’s article on his GoW casting call and that article inspired me to make one of my own. So divide by zero...
