Zombies Invade!

by under WATCH on Mar 2nd
The Walking Dead have arrived . . . and they’re filled with beer!! The fine people at Taverncraft have brightened my day and recently bought the license to use the likenesses from The Walking Dead comic and etch them into beer steins, pint glasses and zippo-style lighters. The prices are a little high ($30 for the 25 oz etched glass stein, $20 for the lighters and $30 for the 2 etched pint glass set). Taverncraft...

Work Break Time: Afternoon Delight

by under WATCH on Feb 24th
It’s a bit past lunch time for most of us here on WPR and like everyday, our thoughts drift away towards that magical time we like to call Beer:30. It’s that time of the week where you’re done thinking about work and can only think of that frosty and sudsy nectar of the Gods…BEER!

The World Needs More Beer Cannon

by under WATCH on Jan 6th
There’s nothing better than beer. I’m sorry gents, but beer is fucking amazing. What makes beer even better is when you can get one served to you from across the room, all from a mini-fridge that is controlled through an iPhone.

Mid-day Ska Song of the Day!

by under PLAY on Jul 20th
The world needs more ska. I’m glad that there are some groups alive today that are still supporting this lost artstyle. I think our last video we shared with you was Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra too, but that shouldn’t matter…since today’s song, “Beat Down Stomp” should make you get up off or duff and begin to skankin’ around the office. Watch the video if you don’t know...

Who doesn’t love delicious baby animals?

by under READ on May 12th
I am a foodie. I love exploring food, tastes, textures, colors, everything about food. I run a blog with my sister (mostly it’s me doing the work) and Ryan Thomason asked me to give WPR a go. I’d love to write about foods, especially new items seen on the market. I work in a grocery store so I see a lot of interesting new products. I do most of my own cooking so many of these recipes will be much healthier...

Poor Sam can’t be heard, but if you turn up the audio all his lines are golden! We’ll fix that next time. Greg drinks coffee and beer and references 80′s porn-stars (the usual). Nick waxes poetic and tries to fight Greg about the iPad. Chris Claremont “rubs one out” in your eye.

Wii Relaxation Game In Development

by under PLAY on Aug 10th
Today was a heavy news day for Iwata and Co @ Nintendo…but the only thing that I saw that was even somewhat worth sharing is the fact that Nintendo is actually working on creating a “relaxation” game that will utilize the new Wii Vitality Sensor in 2010. Don’t get me wrong, but I can think of a few hundred other things that are free that I can use to relax, instead of buying a game and a peripheral…which...

Terrible Beer is an Awesome Oxymoron

by under Uncategorized on Mar 25th
This last weekend I decided while at the state-run liquor store (the only places in this kooky state where you can get anything stronger than 3.2%) to pick up a new type of beer each week until I have developed more of a pallate for the world’s most awesome frothy drink. You see, for the most part I tend to stick to beers that are high on hops or are stouts. I, for the life of me, can’t understand how people...

Mid-day Ska Song of the Day!

by under PLAY on Mar 17th
With today being St. Patrick’s Day, I give to you one of the finest drinking songs in the Ska universe. Reel Big Fish are one of the few groups that I’ve seen in person and after hearing this song performed live and being able to sing with the crowd along with a large barley-pop in hand, things just aren’t the same anymore. I will always be a fan of RBF. Remember, drinking is fun, but please be responsible!...

Prehistoric Beer?!? GIMME!

by under Uncategorized on Jan 8th
I’d like to think that some caveman, at some point in our evolution was able to discover fermentation. It may not be documented, but I always hold hope that we see a cave painting with human figures with bubbles coming off their head. Well a brewery from California promises even more, a beer made from 45 million year old yeast…did someone say drunken Raptor Jesus? Yes please! Fossil Fuels Brewing Company...

RLR #4 – Zombies

by under READ on Oct 19th
Ok, we recorded this about a whole damn month ago and I’ve been lazily sitting on it, constantly procrastinating when it would be edited and put up. Well, I finally for off my ass and did something about it. I present to you, Red-Light Roundtable Episode 4: Zombies. In this chapter of RLR it’s me, Popa, and theF1sh talking about a ton of topics including Zombies, video games, college living, beers, and just...
